Vinyl Window ReplacementVinyl Window Replacement: What’s Your Concern?

It’s time to replace one of more of your windows, but you have a lot of questions and concerns:

Relax! We Take Away the Fear of Replacing Windows.

With hundreds of installations under our belts, we’ve seen it all, and can explain exactly what’s going to be involved, and what problems need to be addressed. There are many issues that you may not have even thought of, and it’s our job to explain the entire process and set your mind at ease. We’ll help you ensure that everything is taken into account at the start of the job to prevent any problems down the road.

If you’re not planning to enlarge your windows, there should be no structural work required.

Our 10-Step Window Replacement Process

Our process is designed to ensure you’re at ease every step of the way:

  1. When you call, you will speak with Richard (the owner), not to a receptionist or salesperson who doesn’t understand your problem. If he’s busy, he’ll call you right back, even if he’s on the job. During your conversation, Richard will assess your situation to make sure Countryside is able to help.
  2. We’ll schedule an appointment, at your convenience, for a no-obligation consultation with Troy, our sales consultant. All your requirements and questions will be answered in detail, along with our suggestions for the best solution. You may not have thought about different options for window casing, whether your blinds will fit the new windows, and many other factors, both on the interior and exterior, that can turn your exciting project into a nightmare if they’re not discussed up front. You’ll be surprised at how many little things have to be taken into account for a great job.
  3. After all your questions have been answered, you’ll get a firm quote, not an estimate, right on the spot. And a firm quote is just that—we won’t come back later and tell you there were extra charges for things we didn’t anticipate. With all of our years of experience, we know how to price a job fairly. If there’s something we didn’t anticipate, that’s our problem, not yours.
  4. You take some time to think about whether you want to proceed. With Countryside, you will never be pressured to buy on the spot. We know it’s a major decision that sometimes requires more thought or discussions with other family members.
  5. Once you have decided you’d like to work with us, we’ll ask you to sign our contract. But remember, even after you’ve signed, you have the legal right to change your mind within 10 days for any reason whatsoever.
  6. What, Troy didn’t ask for a deposit? No, he didn’t forget; that’s our policy. Many contractors ask for money up front, but we don’t believe in doing that. We believe business relationships are based on trust. You trust us to do a great job, and we trust you to pay us when we’re done and you’re happy.
  7. After you sign the contract, Richard will pay you a personal visit to look over the job, and review everything with you to: make sure nothing’s been overlooked; answer any new questions you may have, and make any necessary changes. If you want a different window, size, or colour, no problem—we’ll just add it on at the end.
  8. When the windows have been ordered from our fabricator, we’ll set up a date for your installation. We work with your schedule and don’t expect you to be available on ours. We can accommodate mornings, afternoons, or evenings, but we don’t work weekends (we like to have fun and family time too!)
  9. Finally, we’ll show up as promised to do the installation. If something unforeseen happens, we’ll let you know in advance so you can choose another time that suits you. We can do most installations in 2-3 days, with little disruption and virtually no mess left behind. Find out more about our installations here.
  10. Once the installation is complete and you’re happy, we’ll collect our money and leave you to enjoy your new windows. We’ll look forward to hearing what many of our customers have said: “I can’t believe I waited this long to replace my windows.”

Replacement Windows & Renovations

If your new windows are part of a larger renovation project, talk to us first. It’s crucial that windows are done at the right time during the project. If you’re changing some openings or moving windows, the windows should be done first to avoid any problems.

And we can also help you with your entire renovation. We may specialize in windows and doors, but many of our customers have requested other services like decks, roofing, siding, and even additions.
